KR Castlemaine Website

 

Challenge

KR Castlemaine (a George Weston Food brand) originally engaged Deepend to redesign and develop the KR Castlemaine website. The website is targeted at consumers – specifically mums – and aimed to convey the primary corporate message that KR Castlemaine products are great value, great taste and delivered ‘fresh from the farm’.
 

Since the original project, Deepend’s relationship with KR Castlemaine has continued to grow and flourish. We have been appointed to design and develop a number of digital projects and activity from scratch – including a range of social media competitions and community development, digital marketing and campaign development. 

Response

When the original KR Castlemaine website was taken offline, all content was lost so the website Deepend had to create also included creating all content from scratch. KR Castlemaine is a product in a competitive market where consumers are looking for quality and value, but it can be difficult to get them to engage meaningfully with the brand due to the nature of the product.

 
For the website, Deepend built an easy to use Wordpress CMS to provide the client with a website they could easily use and maintain, giving them freedom and independence. Each digital marketing campaign we have done since then has received a good response online, with fan acquisition steadily increasing with each campaign.

Result

Each social media competition that Deepend has run for KR Castlemaine has generated a fan increase of up to 30%.
