Challenge

AWARD were delivered an industry-first, visionary brand concept by Interbrand, and needed a partner to make it possible. The concept was to deliver a living logo. A logo that grew and changed with the AWARD community, that was a live, random animation when displayed digitally, and unique when printed. 

Response

Creating the dynamically generated logo was an industry first. Built as the central focal point for the website design, complex box2d physics create a seemingly random motion of dots that morphs and moves, but always looks like the AWARD A.
 

Offline, the a print-logo generator was developed to deliver EPS, JPGs or PNGs dynamic logos straight to into Microsoft Office templates seamlessly integrating the concept with all marketing collateral. 

Result

The branding was subject to much debate. The branding itself was noted in numerous industry magazines with Interbrand’s vision at the fore of the discussion. Deepend was widely recognised as the contributor that brought the ambitious, seemingly impossible concept to life.
 

AWARD were ecstatic to see their brand so beautifully implemented, with such a clear adherence to the original vision. Interbrand were over the moon to be able to put their name against an industry first, and entered the brand into numerous competitions.
